1.2 Course description
This course covers the mainstay of intellectual property law, including patent law, copyright law, and trademark law. With the rapid development of information technology, many intellectual property law issues that are related to the use of information technology have emerged. This course will cover some selected issues, such as database protection, domain name protection, and intellectual property rights in software. This course is appropriate both for a single exposure to intellectual property and information technology law, and as an introductory course to advanced courses and seminars.
